Had a "new patient" appt today with a doc that actually speaks english. Too bad she was a fucking bitch.

I made a list of alllll my issues (because I cant remember shit anyways) and as soon as she saw the hep, she dismissed everything else. I tried asking her about all the different pains I am having, what to do, etc etc. She said it is all from the virus, theres nothing she can do about it, and if it gets bad, to take some tylenol.

She also said I was probably misdiagnosed 7 years ago, and every time since, with the depression and that I am probably bi-polar. Regardless... depression or the depressed side of bi-polar I AM DEPRESSED and need meds. I don't see how she can assume that the dx is wrong... this is the first time I have seen her and she didnt talk to me about it!

Also, disability sent me some paperwork to have her fill out and she said that it will be denied because I can at least answer a phone for half a day.

Ugh.

" I SOO understand...when 1st dx primary doc sent me to horrid GI-he said since I'm bipolar can't take tx cause will kill myself or someone else????

Hell been 5 yrs since a bp episode and then I was manic not depressed but didn't matter.

When I changed docs he had actually written on file that I had just been hhospitalized in mental ward the month before????? I went back to primary doc and had him deleted from referral list!

Changed docs and got ok from him and my pschy I've seen for 5 yrs and no problem

Fighting ins co was more hassel....don't let anyone tell you because you are depressed or bipolar you aren't the same as anyone else...that is just another unreal stigma.

Meds can manage both HepC and bipolar or whatever!

Please find another doc and if pschy not good change him too!

Unreal that we pay and gotta fight for help!

Hang in there babe-at least you found DS-here is where I found all my info, support and lifelong friends that share a commanality!

Like all said before-get copies of all files and blood work-it is the law they have to provide them to you.

Also screw that disability advise too...it may take awhile and a long fight but you can get it. I'm still waiting on Administrative Law Judge after 2 denials but have been told by lawyer I'll get it.

Just another gov't stall cause most people can't live w/o income for 3 or more yrs.

Here for ya anytime I can help! xoxo "
