It is not unusual for swollen hemorrhoids to bleed. But if bleeding is heavy they should be removed. You should be able to judge if they are that serious or not. Usually just a showing of blood during movements or a few drops in the toilet water poses no problem. But bleeding ones accompany pain. And I would also consider how much pain I am in and consider removal.
I have a friend that had bleeding ones and more painful ones. They werent getting better. The doctor gave him some kind of medication to actually shrink them. I couldn't get the name of the medication. But I would certainly ask. Maybe ask the pharmacyst so when you see the doctor, request the medication. See if it is for you.
