" Hi,
Try taking a light cloth like towels & dip this ins cold water , wrap this on the swollen area & ask him to keep this untill he gets up from bed.
this will reduce the temperature in that place & cools down with out hurting, he will have a nice sleep "

" Hi,
My son is 6 years old now and we've had a rough time too. 2 is such a hard age, but i oftn believe that haemophilia is often harder on the parents - we always tend to think that there's a bleed or pain first rather than finding the most obvious cause first. Try and exclude all other possible reasons first and then try some massage, not to the actual area itself if it is actively bleeding, but to any other areas that he may find soothing. Massage is a great way to bond with your child, gives you a chance to examine their body for bruises or bleeds without being clinical and releases endorphines which help with pain. Distraction at this age is also invaluable, reading a story, painting, drawing, even a movie will help distract them from the immediate pain and teach them invaluable life lessons about how to live with pain. When all else fails, a nice cuddle and a soothing lullabye never does any harm. The best possible thing you can do for your child when they are in pain, is to hide your own pain, they look to you most times to see your reaction. If they think you are upset, they will be too. Each child is different and what works for one wont sometimes work for others, its trial and error but if you keep trying you will get there - I hope you and your son get some sleep! "

If so does he treat as needed maybe you need to have him go on prophy and have him treated a few times a week this is common for kids these days. Otherwise he really should be ok most nights "
