I am so tired at this point. I have been from Doctor to Doctor and I just want to know why it's so hard to diagnose me. Let me explain my story. I took prednisone from ages 3 to 13 for poison ivy reaction. I was really elergic to it and had to take shots of steriods every month until I was 13 years old. It is now Tuesday afternoon. The sun is shining and I am feeling a bit more positive. The medication has been making me feel even more nausesaus than I usually feel but somehow this afternoon has been a bit easier. I have even been able to nibble a bit more. Everyone is nagging me to eat but most times it feels too difficult. Mum and Dad have booked tickets to come out from South Africa. A good r...1 Recommendation -

Well, my first Journal entry. I have been signing in to DS since the beginning of the year but never got this far. When I joined I had been told I had hemochromatosis and was starting phlebotomy. I have been doing that since January and although my iron levels came down my health issues remained an issue, in fact my chest (I had been diagnosed with asthma 2 years ago) was getting steadily worse. ...1 Recommendation -

What a wild night. We went camping this weekend and got hit with a bad thunderstorm. I havn't seen rain like that in a long time. It was so hard that it started coming through the tent. My Novantrone has been delayed. The neuro wants me to have more blood work done. My WBC count was at 3.8. It is normally in this area. I hope the script gets here tomorrow so I can try to have the blood work done sooner. If I can't get the therapy done next week, the next time I can do it is the 7/4. I finally found out what's wrong with my mom on May 30th....my son's 23rd birthday. He came over crying. He never cries. She has 4th stage cirrhosis...a result of genetic hemochromatosis. It was a little warm today, 98. That's alittle too early for that here in PA. At least it's a dry heat.... Won't feel like eating and the grass won't grow so fast, they're pluses. Leaving today for Chattanooga then OFF to the beach first thing tomorrow morning.
I got my packing completed, in exception for the last minute items. All i need to do is get off work and run by my house to gather up the bags awaiting the beach trip....
Yesterday I went ahead and got gas, and the alcohol for my week holiday...
I will be less anxious once my feet hit the soothing white sand!
