Okay... heres the deal. My boyfriend and I have a great sex life... I love it rough! The other night we got right into it... all the kinky goodness! well, needless to say I woke up the next morning with a huge hickey on my neck and a few bruises on my arms (trust me, those were some well earned and amazing battle wounds) but the thing is... my ex abused me bad. Now the people at my school saw my bruises today and got so worried! like, I tried to tell them... no really, its not what you think. But of course... who's gonna beleive that? and I cant really blurt out, "Hey... I like to get fucked hard!" in the middle of my web class! lol

Anyone else have this happen? End up with bruises/marks after a hot night and then have people worried after? Or is my situation a weird one? lol

" hmm... that's a difficult one.

i haven't necessarily been there, but my ex was abused as a child, & she liked it rough, so its certainly not unheard of that an abuse survivor would like it on the heavier side.

i had a workmate once who had a history of abusive lovers. she started showing up to work with body bruises & claimed that they were from D&S play. it actually caused a bit of a row among our community, because at the time (10 years ago) D&S & B&D were not very well understood - they were thought of as "bad" or "un-PC" by some, so she got a lot of crap for it. also, the fact that she had had a runing history of bad relationships made everyone question whether that was going on again, even if she said it wasn't - she wasn't very credible, i guess - she definitely had her issues (alcoholism on the job being another).

sorry - i'm sure that's of absolutely no help. "

" btw - response to #2 - slip, i would definitely not play it up. allegations of abuse are nothing to make light of. you can open yourself to a whole can of worms - some of which may even have legal implications... (worms with legal implications? yuck!) "

" Ha ha ha David (on the worms with legal alligations part) yeah, your post does make sence. Im sure slip ment no harm... it really isnt any of there concern and Ive only been in one bad relationship so it was really unfair for them to ussume the same... but owell. One of the girls who asked about the marks, I told her what really happened and she laughed... obviously I still wont tell the guys in my class that! Dont want to raise any eyebrows! lol ha ha haha ha "

" yeah, well, this girl had a history of making bad decisions & of lying as well, plus the times were different re: general acceptance of different kinds of sex. sounds like you're in the clear. & yeah - i meant no offence to slip - i know his advice was well-meaning.

& yeah - i defintely wouldn't tell any of the guys in the class. sounds like your instincts are right. "

" Cat, if you tell the guys, you'll raise more than eyebrows! LOL I would just keep it hush hush....try and cover up what you can til they go away. Use makeup on them? I came to work one day with a hickey and scratch marks on my neck and my boss goes, "What the hell? Cat get you?"...I just went with that! LOL "
