Ugh.
I had a contractor here ealier as we're doing some remodeling on the property. He was leaving and I said, "You take it easy!" He followed up with, "I'll take it any way I can get it!" as he twirled his wedding band on his hand. Totally understandable that he came back with that comment, quite inappropriate, but true - typically when you get married, the sex life slows down. So, I'm pretty laid back and the comment didn't offend me, but then he sat down at my desk and asked me if I ever get lonely living here. I QUICKLY changed the subject, but he stood up, grabbed my business card and made a few dumbass comments that men make when flirting like "Stephanie, I've always liked that name" Ughhh! And "I do a lot of work here in this area..." NEWSFLASH!! I'm not interested, and definately unavailable AND if I was interested, you're married, you bastard! I wanted to rip my business card right out of his hand. I was taken aback by the gaw of this man to come in here, act this way, make a comment like he'd take it anyway he could get it, and then try to hint that he'd wanna get it from me! Um, NOOOO! Can we say male slut? Question to you married people, and I know it's been posed to you before, but do you flirt with people, and if you do, would you ever try to take it as far as this guy? I am a CONTRACTOR myself and that type of shit pisses me off so bad, its ass holes like that that make it tough for guys like me. I would never approach a client in any shape or form in that manner WHAT SO EVER. All my work is word of mouth and by doing that i would be shut down FAST. As for flirting , yes I do it as well but i am very sutle and very playful with it. It is only done with someone whom has been around me for some time that ever sees that side of me WHAT SO EVER...... Very sorry Steph that you had to see that from someone in my trade. if i were closer i would gladly help you and take care of what ya needed in your home..... LOVE AND HUGS !!!!!!!!!
