Ugh.
I had a contractor here ealier as we're doing some remodeling on the property. He was leaving and I said, "You take it easy!" He followed up with, "I'll take it any way I can get it!" as he twirled his wedding band on his hand. Totally understandable that he came back with that comment, quite inappropriate, but true - typically when you get married, the sex life slows down. So, I'm pretty laid back and the comment didn't offend me, but then he sat down at my desk and asked me if I ever get lonely living here. I QUICKLY changed the subject, but he stood up, grabbed my business card and made a few dumbass comments that men make when flirting like "Stephanie, I've always liked that name" Ughhh! And "I do a lot of work here in this area..." NEWSFLASH!! I'm not interested, and definately unavailable AND if I was interested, you're married, you bastard! I wanted to rip my business card right out of his hand. I was taken aback by the gaw of this man to come in here, act this way, make a comment like he'd take it anyway he could get it, and then try to hint that he'd wanna get it from me! Um, NOOOO! Can we say male slut? Question to you married people, and I know it's been posed to you before, but do you flirt with people, and if you do, would you ever try to take it as far as this guy? I have flirted, but not with the intention of anything happening. I'm happy in my marriage. But I think everyone flirts a little.

Yeah, that was wrong.
I'm gonna be honest. When I was married, I did flirt at times. And sometimes, too far. It was b/c of how miserable I was in my marriage. (not excusing it, I promise, it just was) But I think alot of people are like that. They are unhappy, many times in the sex dept, yet they don't want to get divorced. So, they throw the bait out there and sees who will take it. Alot or most won't, b/c of the band. But occasionally, you find one that will. But I am sorry. I obviously know now, as you know , that alot of the shit I did in my marriage was wrong. And so was this guy. Just completely unappropriate and tactless. Love you honey bear!
