Fun things to do on a date

My husband and I have filed for divorce, but are currently trying to work things out. We have very little in common and haven't done much together. We're looking for fun things to do and hoping to find common ground. We've been so overwhelmed with life, work, and raising our daughter that we've lost all sense of "social activities". We have NO idea about what we would like to do together. He loves to shoot pool and I go to watch him when he plays at tournaments and such. I love volleyball and horses and he has no interest in either.

Our first date was more than 22 years ago, we went to dinner, then raced go-carts. We had a blast, it was a great first date.

PLEASE give me suggestions of things to do (beside the normal dinner and movies). We live in So. Cal., so there's everything from the mountains to the beach.

" Go for a scenic walk or hike.
Go to your local coffee house for whatever open mic or music is playing.
Go to a play.
Go to a restaurant with live music.
Attend first Friday-a special night each month at art galleries.
Here are some ideas to start. "

" taco truck tour?

It would be good if you guys could put some effort into participating in the non-shared things too...take turns every other week?

Good luck...

Oh!

I have a good one...a night of reminiscing on the best memories that you have of each other? Putting old photos together? "

" a night home- no tv, no kids, prepare a light dinner of different fruit and cheese, and just talk and take your time getting to know each other again, there are couple board games to help with conversation, how about a night of just kissing, touching , no sex, holding hands and walking after dinner, a night just about making you happy or a night just about him could be kinda KOOOL!
