My dad is done with treatment & relies on a feeding tube. He has not eaten for over a year & is about to try dialation, where they stretch your esophogas.(??) Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this??

" This is usally a pretty simple procedure, my son-in-law has had it done, because he was having trouble eating. I was told that the end of the esophagus dpes tend to close in some people. But your Dad having had cancer, it might be a different situation. "
