surgery?

I was right handed until redently, when a joint problem, combined with breaking my hand made it quite painful to use it. I've been trying physical therapy and wearing a brace for a year now, but there has been little improvement.

There is a surgery that the doctors think could fix it, but it is really expensive, and I'm scared. What do you think that I should do?

" well you said your not getting anywhere with what your doing now...so maybe surgery is worth trying. it might be expensive but would you rather be pain for the rest of your life?!? and you don't have to be scared...i had surgery on my left hand this past october, and all went fine...i have to have another surgery next october...but it only took like 2 months for me to recover and i will be playing volleyball this fall...so i'd say its worth doing!
