I went to a ayurvedic dr.
this is medicine from india.
I have insurance and I can afford this, I know not every one does. I didn't have health insurance for a very long time. Anyways... it's actually working.

This is for anyone who wants to get off these TERRIBLE meds that the regular dr's put us on!

This is the pitta cooling diet.
The purpose is to expel the heat from your body, too much heat causes things like gout.

I hope you try this since I am going to type it up : )

In addition to this diet, she put me on 2oz of Aloe Vera juice.
4oz in an attack

Magnesium 400mg- 600 to 800 in an attack
I am on Homeopathic Sulfer 200c .. 5 pills 3 times a day
I am on Pro Trauma It's a natural antiflamitory
and I am on 5_HTP for cravings and sleep problems
I am told to SWIM only. It is cooling and it's so important to exercise when you have gout. And I know it's near impossible. But Swimming is good, it's doesn't effect the joints and when I swim 4-5 times a week, my gout is so much better.

HERE IS THE DIET,
ENJOY!
Of course this diet doesn't say, but it's not ok to drink at all.
Sometimes I can get away with 4 oz of rum once a month, but no beer, no wine no nothing else.

Pitta is a diet that is slightly heavy, it cools, and is a little dry. They should choose foods which are bitter and sweet, astringent while avoiding sour, salty and pungent. Foods which are cool, raw, very lightly spiced and cooked with little oil are balancing for Pitta. They should avoid foods which are fried and overly cooked. Before eating, Pitta constitutions should make sure that they are not angry, irritable or upset. Three regular meals are usually sufficient. Avoiding eating late at night.

** ok to get your sweet you eat THREE servings of fresh fruit a day
Bitter= Chicory, it's a bitter drink you brew like coffee and you get at health food stores, whole foods etc.
astringent= green bananas or lentils
AVOIDING pungent foods like spicy things, tobacco, chilies, peppers, cayenne. THE ONLY SPICE YOU CAN DO IS GINGER....
