I was watching the History Channel special on Nostradamus.. and low and behold.. he suffered from Chronic Gout LOL..it actually ended up Killing him..well, he developed something called Dropsy, which is retaining fluid in the joints that eventually leads to heart failure..the attributed his years of suffering through gout to cause that other condition.
I can't imgaine the poor folks who suffered from Gout back in the old days before some type of drug or treatment options were available. It's bad enough for us today, but imagine no good drugs available!!

I wonder if Nostradamus could tell each of us when our gout will eventually go away??

LOL
