Does anyone know of a recipe for chicken salad that does not use mayo? And, due to my son's allergies, no dairy, peanuts, tree nuts or egg. THANKS!

" Chop your chicken and celery, add a splash of raisins, and toss them all in curry and onion powder to taste, adding enough FRESH lemon juice to moisten it and hold it together. Chopped apples are optional. I use garbanzo beans instead of chicken but it is good either way. "

" Sorry I forgot most of them have egg whites--how about any of these

Ener-G Egg Replacer - follow directions on box.
2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes. "

" You could also use a splurt of soy sour cream instead of the mayo. "

" Have you tried Vegenaise? It really tastes like mayonnaise (even better, I think) but only contains these ingredients:
Canola oil, filtered water, apple cider vinegar, brown rice syrup, soy protein, sea salt, lemon juice, and mustard.

I use it in chicken salad, etc, wherever I would normally use regular mayonnaise, and it is always good :-) I can get it at my local grocery or health food store. (And no, I don't work for the company ;-)

Here's their website:

Hope you like it! "
