" This disease is so strange. My girl friend had a water blister on her foot. She popped the blister and two days later she had contracted necrotizing fasciitis, ( NF ) aka flesh eating bacteria. This bacteria will literally eat away at your skin. There is no cure for it other than to amputate above where the infection is. For instance my g/f lost her lef below the knee to begin with then it ad travelled higher than they had expected and they had to do an above the knee amputation. It will also distroy your kidney, liver and heart. This disease travels at apprx. 1 inch per hour. You need to have immediate care. "

" In March 07, I contracted a Strep A Infection in my blood stream which, within 12 hours, led to necrotizing fasciaitis-flesh eating bacteria. I was in so much pain that I was dilusional. By the time they finally figured out what was going on and took me to emergency surgery, they removed 60% of the muscle out of the left side of my back. I was in complete organ failure. They gave me a 2% chance to live. I had a total of 13 surgeries and spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital. But, I'm here to post this, so God's definitely got a plan for me! "
