Hey Fellow Fitness Friends-

I am pleased to announce the lose of two (count 'em 2!) dress sizes. I've gone from a scary 12 to a far more emotionally comfortable size 8. I've been running between two and three miles four times a week and I'm trying to incorporate a good hour of weight training into the mix. Here's to hoping I can get down to a size 6 over the next few months!
Thanks for all your positive support everyone!
Wendy~

" That's a GREAT routine...a good balance between cardio and weights. Glad to hear it's working for you!

Take care of your knees while running; if your knees get injured, your running will be severely limited. "

" What fantastic news; it's a grand feeling isn't it? Your clothes getting all baggy and then you're forced to go out and get smaller ones! I just did the same recently, but it's making me impatient for more loss.

Be sure to mix up what you are doing before your body gets used to the same old same old. And for sure watch your knees. Mine to this day are a problem, so I have to resort to elipt and spinning equipment for my cardio.
Maybe try to get in some biking after your weights as it's a great time for it.
So long as you are drinking lots of water, it should help the weights to push that extra fat/size off you.
Good luck reaching that smaller size. "
