My New Personal Goal:
I am not setting a date to complete this because I want to complete it A.S.A.P!

I am 5'10" and I have always been told that My healthy weight range for my height is between 155 and 175lbs. I currently weigh 225lbs (though i do not look it). My weight goal is to get down to a healthy 165lbs. right in the middle of my weight range. (that way a have room to grow and shrink). The things I plan to do to loose this weight as soon as possible are:
*No more soda
*Stop adding salt to food (retaining water)
*Slimfast for breakfast, Slimfast for lunch, healthy dinner... fruit and maybe crackers throughout the day
*Drink MORE WATER
*Cut down on smoking (this is a hard one)
*instead of driving to the corner store or library... walk (this will help with gas too!) I would walk to and from school too, but its too far plus i have to be there too early in the AM to even think about walking
*instead of eating when Im bored/stressed out, drink water and do something productive (maybe ill clean when im stressed out)
*(as soon as the nasty ass pool is cleaned) Ill start waking up early and swimming before class! and before bed... I miss swimming! I used to be on the swim team and it made me in the best shape of my life!
***I have asthma so running/excersize is greatly affected by it. Thats why swimming was a big deal. It was the one thing that my asthma never affected***
*Im going to continue taking my daily vitamins and acid reducers
*Im thinking about trying one of those Colon Cleansers/sytem cleansers... but they cost money and I am a college student so I dont want to wast money on that and have it not work

Any other sugestions would be greatly appriciated!

" I think the emphasis should be on something you could live with for a life time. To jump start your diet you could restrict a little more by doing the slim fast for two meals but in the long run that isn't something you could keep up with. You need to go for life changes. For instance cut out the coke. I have trouble drinking plain water so I add the flavors to it. (make sure you watch the calories on this. There are some that have no calories or sugar) Of course the best thing is plain water but I would never consume 8 cups of water a day if I didnt add the flavor. The walking is a very good idea and so are the swimming.

Just think permanant changes. It is better to lose is slow and keep it off than to loose it fast and not be able to stick with it and gain it all back and more. "
