" This isn't an ab or thigh toning issue-- this is a family issue! Don't let your cousin win by NOT letting her get you down with her mean spirited comments. She's probably jealous, or spiteful, or it's something else within herself as a person. It's not about you or about your body. Keep working out the way you have been if it's getting you results. And I know a great workout for toning your neck muscles and your self-respect: Keeping your chin up in the face of uncalled for comments like that one!

Take care, and DON'T listen to this cousin or to your mom or anyone else when they choose to pass this type of uncalled for comment along. "

" Maybe you just don't have time for mean people.

As for abs and thighs. If you can do step aerobics thats one way to go. Also, increase the incline if you are using a treadmill. Try some of Cathe Friedrich's workouts on FitTv. Kick boxing. Hula dancing.

Low carb eating. Eat clean. Cook as much as you can. Protein pre workout and a little bit of a carb post workout. Don't eat too late in the day (2 hours before bed is the cut off time.) Eat enough calories! Thats really important. Us girls tend to eat too little we really need to fuel the furnace because otherwise the body thinks it will never eat again and won't release the fat.

The muscles won't show until you remove the fat underneath but the building of muscle will help you remove the fat on top.

Yoga. Lunges. Squats. Watch knee alignment on those. I have an old buns of steel thighs tape that is good. "

" She will win if you let her manipulate you.

As for ab and thigh toning, weight lifting is probably the best thing to do. "

" You could never be as fat in the thighs as she is in the head.

Keep working, but do it because it's what YOU want. When you finally get there, and you're cousin finally says, "You look great!" Smile at her and say, "Thanks, but my appearance doesn't need your approval." "

" well you dont look fat in you pic at ALL. but what counts is that you eat healthy and stay active! some people can be so cruel. i feel so sad for you. i probably would have cried. well my suggestion to you is do some cardio/aerobics and some walking/jogging (depending on what you can handle at first) to burn some fat, and for abs and thighs try these exercises: the mountain climber, renegade dumbell rows (which i just do without the weights), and front squats (but again, i do those without the weights). you can look up the exercises on youtube.com to see how to do them. i also discovered that to tone the flabby part of the back of your arms and work your abs at the same time you can sit on the floor with your legs under your kitchen table and do pull ups using the edge of the table to hold on to.

check these sites (completely free):
http://www.truthaboutabs.com/3-bes...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpd...

the first link is a description of those 3 exercises i mentioned. the second ling is a clip from something called core rhythms. it's pretty fun and you will work up a sweat without even realizing it. goes by so fast. :-) "
