I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and have not work since last August. My State disability will run out mid-August.
I am a 42 year old woman trying to get on permanent disability and have been turned down from my long term disability and am applying SSI. I have been married almost three years, so fortunately, we have some income, however, I brought debt into our marriage. (We both had debt) Without disability or my income, I wil not be able to pay my bills from my husband's income as we have other bills to pay. So, my question is...short of filing bankruptcy, as I will likely not able to due to my marriage, does anyone recommend a company or companies that will help me work w/ my creditors to lower my bills, so it will not be such a burden?
