i received a letter in the mail that said i was pre-approved for a credit card. i already have one card that has $1500 balance and i only pay the minimum on it. i was considering getting this second card to help pay for school for the whole school year. i was going to use that other card to do that with but i will max it out and not have anything left for the next semester. with this new card it will gaurantee that i have enough money for school even if its only like a $500 limit. i'm only going to use it for school and nothing else. i think it will come in handy if i have some type of emergency too and my other card is maxed out

" I quit college because of financial reasons. I was too proud to ask my Dad for any help. If I could do it over...I would do anything to finish. With that said...I am slowly getting squeezed with my CC debt.

Do you have parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts older siblings that could give you an interest free loan? Just to get you through, so you can graduate without starting out with credit cards baggage weighing you down. Probably not, or you wouldn't be thinkin of using a CC. I would maybe go talk to your bank, and see if they could give you some kind of fixed rate loan...

Good luck and stick with it (school) one way or another! "

" I would'nt advise it. You don't need any more debt that you have. these credit card companies want your business and don't care about what it could do to you in the future. "

" ok so i'm not going to be getting the second credit card after all. good thing i'm a procrastinator this time and didn't all ready sign up for it. turns out i will be given the chance to take out another student loan so thats what i'm going to do. i know its not like thats any better but at least i can keep all the debt together. i'm already in close to 30,000 in student loans debt so another couple thousand doesn't seem like much.
