BAD DAY

I could hardly get out of bed this morning. I am begining to think the lyrica is not working any more. I need to find something else. I'm new to treating Fibro. I go back to the doctor on the 18th. Need to find some suggestions to ask him about. Any and all help from you all is welcome and needed. Oh, and I'm also thinking I'm fighting another kidney stone. Could my life get any better? Not working today is all I can think about. But that will not be happening. I took off yesterday afternoon can't do that today. I'll try to keep smiling and move on with the program!

" It took me a long time to get my regular dr. to even refer me to someone else. He kept saying. I just don't know what it could be. The new dr put me on the lyrica first thing and prozac for panic attacks. I just called the dr and left a message for him. Maybe I'll here something soon. I know some of you have been dealing with this a lot longer than me. I also know some of you are a lot worse than me. I just don't know how much of this pain I can take. I feel like I'm on the brink of tears. "

" I hope you can see your doctor earlier, I can imagine how you feel...I dragged myself to work today and it was exhausting to just keep the smile (well more of a grimmace) on my face and fight the tears. I can't help with any suggestions I'm afraid but would like to hear how you get on. "

" I take tramadol (ultram) for the pain and it helps on an everyday basis. The good thing about it is that's it's very hard to get addicted to. Lots of people take muscle relaxers and anti-depressants as well. Some of the Ad's have been shown to help with the fibro pain, Cymbalta for one, can't think of any others right now, brain fog,

I feel for you on the kidney stone. I think that was the worst pain I've ever had. Drink TONS of water to help flush it out. And a lot of them are caused by water deficiency, so drinking water more frequently all year round will help to prevent another one. Some days I feel like a fish I drink so much water! *gulp gulp* "

" My doctor upped my lyrica on Wednesday. Can't tell a difference yet. Other than I really feel in a fog today.
I have started keeping a record and rating my pain ( 1 to 10) in the a.m. & p.m. This morning I gave myself a 6. MAN I WOULD LOVE TO BE A 1. Maybe one day. I still go back to the dr. on the 18th. "
