I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to be a game. It can be though!

I've the same symptoms as Kitties. It might help you if you get yourself up at around 4 A.M. and take your pain meds then. They will be working for you before you get up to stay. My routine is 4A.M., Noon, 8 P.M. Initially, after being sedentary for a while it hurts a lot to get up and move. However, the more I move around, the easier it gets and the less stiff I am. You?

This sure doesn't sound like fun(lol). So it must he a game. My humor is sick so I guess I'll play. I'm so disappointed when I wake up. Another day I just want to go back to sleep.

Mornings are the worst for me too. I wake up stiff, achy, headache, congestion, back ache, neck stiffness/pain, foot pain, heel pain.
A rheumatologist asked me, how long does this last in the mornings.... I stuttered..I was like "what do you mean, how long does it last? It NEVER GOES AWAY!"

I am the same in the morning, my feet are so painful when I stand up after getting out of bed. my neck 0 bloody hell, no everywhere just plain hurts.. it takes a long while to get downstairs. I have been taken off all pain meds, I am at the end of my tether and have to go to gp and ask, no beg, for pain meds..

Mornings used to be awful...the Thought of how I Knew I was gonna feel in the Morning was enuff to keep me awake at night...and even cause Anxiety attacks within me...I would say Prayers Everynight..."God, PLEASE Let me awaken in the Morning with No stiffness, No headche...no New issue to deal with"..
I really feel good now when I wake up...God answered my Prayer by Whispering into my Internists ear..."send her to A Physical Therapist"...He taught me So very much...and I am now able to get right up out of bed...headaches ?? I RARELY have them anymore...has been a great year {Mostly} so far !!
my WORST time is Mid day...and By 4pm I am usually having a "Mini Flare" and am in my chair...but I am Not gonna complain about that...tho I get alot more done then i was doing last year at this time...I am still only doing maybe 1/4 of what I USED to get done in a morning...
Hugs to you this day...Prayers that you find something to help your mornings !!

My mornings are around 2p.m. as I am a night person and don't go to bed till dawn. I've tried changing this but it's part of the p.t.s.d. I think. I feel safer at night. And I am usualy enjoying that and don't want to have to sleep (tho I love the sleep part) and go through waking up again. When I wake up I just want to go back to sleep. It's been many, many, yrs since I just bounced out of bed ready for the day. Altho I have had that feeling once in a blue moon. But then my body retaliates usualy. My pain is not so bad as my fatigue lately. And the feelings of waking up. I start thinking of things that are pressing. Money probs, etc... or just have anxiety. I had something bad happen to me when I woke up one morning, 7 yrs ago. I wrote about it in the P.T.S.D. forum. Maybe I should leave that stuff there. Thanks for the topic. I'm learning allot. Blessings

Mornings when I first get out of bed are my worst time of the day. I am so stiff and sore that I can barely stand up straight, and it hurts so bad to walk that I walk kind of like a penguin - rocking back and forth because neither my feet nor my knees will bend.
I also feel like my heel cords shorten during the night. My feet hurt so bad, even though I am constantly stretching those muscles and tendons.
I wish I could have IV pain meds that would start around 6:00 a.m. so that by the time I got up I'd have meds on board. I wouldn't dare wake up at 4:00 a.m. and try to take anything - no telling what I'd take or how many LOL
