I was reading the post about post menopausal period symptoms,and read about bleeding.
ummmmmmm i had the copper 7 when i was young, and got an infection that almost killed me. it rendered me infertile,(after my 3 kids), anyway, they left the aftermath in there so i wouldnt have too early of a menopause.... ummmm i have started about 3 months ago, having a spotting.. not enough to wear a pad, but its definatly there when i wipe. (sorry... im gonna make MYSELF throw up let alone you...) my doc just ordered an ultrasound, and she wants me to have a pelvic, i have my theories on them and stopped having pap smears after the PID adventure. one more thing,and i do hesitate, it will make you want to spew, but i gotta ask.... besides the bleeding,there is a uhhhh ummm errrr... nasty smell. I would just go to mayoclinic. webmd or harvard medical to their symptom checker and put your symptoms in and then get to a gyn and be checked out.

bacterial infection or better know vaginitis (sp).. anytime you have a odor its a usually a bacterial infection... ususally standard pill is flagile or metro gel for 7 days.. Im only thinking that is your prob.. no doc here. but you need to see your gyno or gb and get this checked out. not good to let it go.. I cant take flagile or metrol gel... both didnt sit well with me.. so cipro worked.. i had one of these infecions a few yrs ago.. vaginitis if common.. but first get checked hun.. hugs ..:)
