I also have weakness in my wrists and arms. I also fall when i squat down...I do not know if it is related to my fibro but it is there. Good luck to you.

My first symptom was dropping the milk bottle. It's true it could be other things, but it's also true it could be poorly controlled fibro coupled with deconditioning. Or even drugs. I'd talk to doc about this.

I used to wash and blow dry my hair every day - now I wash it twice a week and never blow dry it - I just can't. I often can't pick up a cup, especially one hand - it comes and goes.
As for balance - that fluctuates too. I think it's a fibro thing - but good to get it checked out.

I was diagnosed with the EBV, CFS, and Fib and your story sounds just like mine in detail. I have the exact same issues. I dont have insurance now so I have to wait on any testing but my nuerologist wanted to check me for MS also. He wants to do a MRI. It is frustrating but I have done some research on Periphal Neuropathy and this applies to these kind of symptoms also. It could be that you are experiencing that. Let us know what happens......please and take care

I too suffer with weakness in my arms and hands(mostly the right side). I also drop things and stumble when walking???? Washing and drying my hair are hard work theses days and hanging washing on the line too.I don't know if it's related to fibro but it has been a recent development for me.

Yes, I have weakness in my left side. My arm, shoulder, hand and leg. I have trouble opening bottles too. If I squat I don't fall but I have to hold onto things or have someone give me a hand. I try to avoid squatting, my bottom cabinets show it 'cause I just throw the stuff in there, totally disorganised!

yes, yes, yes, that was what brought me to the dr. my hands were so bad I could not get the body wash, or anything out. I often tripped over my own feet. then add shortness of breath, and vision that comes and goes.
lifting weights will help with the arms, and walking with the legs. my best wishes for all of you.

Oh, I hate the weakness in my arms. I have a hard time holding my little ones. I've modified my life to adjust to it. Picked up tools along the way to help me.
And the squatting thing.....yes, I loose my balance every time I squat. LOL, it's a good thing I'm not too tall, so I have less of a fall!
But this is my nemesis....next to fatigue.
