" Hey Basket, this is great information.
Leslie, I know that the dopas come in generic form. The Lidocaine is an ancient med, but it may be considered brand as it is in a patch form and if it's "new" to the market then it can be considered a brand for up to 7 yrs.
A way to get around that is to see if you have the ability to have it compounded at a pharmacy. (You need to check to see if a pharmacy that is covered under your insurance can compound it) They would simply mix the lidocaine powder with some form of lotion or cream and you can apply it topically that way.

Mirapex is still new...but it may have been FDA approved for a while. Check with an Rph regarding this.

And the Provigil, I'm almost certain has a generic. But again, check with an Rph. "

" I've done the lidoderm (sp) patches and unfortunately they did not help me. This was after having the facet joint injections and epidural injections :( And I won't make those mistakes again......they were the worst pain I have ever been in. "
