OK here we go ladies.... the much anticipated results from the Cleveland Clinic Rhumatologic Department.

After running me through the gauntlet of every autoimmune disorder and every rhuematologic disorder basically known to man we have discovered I am not positive or suspected of having any of them.

My vitamin panels came up great :) Woo hoo, that was without supplements for an entire month ladies, no more wasting money on that I guess, hehe.

Only a few things showed up abnormal... However it was concluded that these findings were insignificant? or irrelevant? NOW I AM MAD! Seems my T4 was way way way too high... hmmm.... odd cause i keep asking about those thyroid levels. but he didn't seem to think it was an issue?! He said that it was doubtful to be an issue, but if concerned maybe could be checked again in the future, ARRRG!

Seems that my CO2 levels were incredibly low... Really really odd. But not even noted on the report? Hmmm...

Then I spotted in all this mess of paper work that my C-Reactive was high? But without anything else showing up positive, they don't know why!

Alright, now for all the X-rays taken they said I had some stuff going on in my lower back, but made it sound like it wasn't any big deal... However, I believe if my primary complaint is my lower back that it is a big deal to find anything AT ALL! ESPECIALLY ON JUST A FEW SIMPLE LITTLE X-RAYS!

Right now me and hubby are sifting through the information and trying to see where we go from here, learning to decode the medical jargon is hard enough, but seriously I am just about sick of these doctors just blowing stuff off. If we can't find anything obvious than anything we can get at all should be looked into, wouldn't you think!

" If you need help with "translations", I worked as a medical secretary on the floors for years and then in the recovery room at the local hospital. I also have one retired nurse, my mom, and my sister still is in RN. "

" I hate it when they just blow you off. When you don't know what you're dealing with, it seems that any abnormal result should be investigated and followed up on. "

" OK, sorry it wasn't T4 that is elevated...

Apparently the Cleveland clinic does their own clinical test that isn't FDA approved in order to Rule out some other abnormalities besides the run of the mill stuff...

So... They said my T-Cell CD4 is count is high, and it is highly recommended that this test be reordered and if shows abnormal than be evaluated by an hematogist?

I have some more for you just give me a few moments here to get it all typed up and ready :). Thanks girls soooooo very very much. You have no idea.

At the bottom of the test it explains that the CD4 T-Cell count is in excess in the following disorders.

Sezary's syndrome, mycosis fungoides, bactrerial infections, and SLE.

All of which I looked up and don't sound like the kind of stuff my PCP should have been overlooking! I am finding a new doctor immediately since it has become blatently obvious he didn't take any time at all to even look over the report, hell he didn't even know I had X-rays done while I was up there! " Yes I would reccomend a new doctor and maybe reporting the one you have so that noone else has to be treated like this. You know they just think patients have to live like they get treated by them not so, thank God for patients like you that stand up and push back. "

" Here is what all of the X-Ray reports had to say...

I am no Doctor... But like I said earlier... I am only 24 years old... Seems like a lot for such a young lass what do you gals think? I need advice and recommendations, and possible interpretations here. Typed right off the report word for word.

" Reads to be a normal xray pretty much. You seem to show slight signs of degeneration in your lower spine but nothing to be concerned about.

I agree with finding a new doc and taking these reports with you on the first visit.

If I can help any further, just holler. Sorry it took me so long today. Had to make a painful trip to town and back.

Gentle huggles... "
