...I don't understand how you can do this and not that. Don't people realize that just because you do something does not mean that you felt like doing it?? Does this mean that the only time they do things is when they feel like it??? I can hardly believe that. Surely we aren't the only people that do things just because it HAS to be done. My problem might be because I did this and because I pushed myself to do this that I can't do that. Perhaps we push ourselves more....or maybe its just that we HAVE to push ourselves. i don't know......but I get tired of being judged by what I do and what I don't.

Probably most people don't really truly get it. That's probably part of what makes this such a lonely disease.

Air away, kiddo...we'll listen, and certainly understand!!! People are often insensitive...it makes this fibromonster all the more frustrating, I agree....we could use any one of several replies, I guess: 1. FU , pal! 2. I'll get to it, or maybe I won't, sorry! 3. Maybe YOU could do it for me.. great..thanks a million! 4. Here's a handout on my condition, please read it. 5. put fingers in your ears and go "BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH"..sorry, not listening to any criticisms right now..... 6. Must be a real blessing to be as healthy YOU!! 7. pour giant glass of vodka, make loud clinking noises with the ice, drowning out nagging voices 8. use Peppershaker's reply--I like that one, too! 9. stare at person blankly 10. cry, making the person feel like crap 11. we all go over to kinder's house for tea and sit on the porch together...:>) How am I doing so far?? I hear what you're saying Basket. My foster sister said things like that while I spent a couple of weeks with her. I did feel a little better because I could get outside in the sunshine and fresh air but that didn't cure me. I did do a few things that I haven't been able to do in a long time. But now that I'm back with my daughter and not able to get out much, I feel worse. My foster sister said that I surprised her by doing what I did and for me not to be a quitter. LOL How's that for not understanding the BIG PICTURE? So vent away because we all feel the same way you do hun.
