Hand Cramps

Has anyone experienced a sudden hand cramp to where you have pain and your hand looks like a claw? This is a new symptom and not sure whether it's fibro or not. My right hand is the one with carpal tunnel so I was surprised my hand did this and I was only holding a bowl of soup when it happened. Any ideas? Thanks.

" I just had to buy a new set of glassware because I drop them all the time.I got tested for carp.tun.syn. but that wasn't it.Pain in hands is a FM symptom and cramping.I get it the worst where your thumb connects to your hand.I do my dishes by hand the warm water helps and stretching my hands helps.I also have bean bags to heat in the microwave and puy infleese mittens for heat therapy. You can get them at bed, bath and beyond.Maybe15$ "

" Interesting question. Four years ago my hands gave me so much trouble I had to wear braces on them. It lasted about a year. I have no residual problem with my hands. I think this stuff does move around in the body "

" Yes,I get hand and feet cramps as you described. Suggestions given to me were to take calcium and magnesium. I take calcium daily, but do take other organic vitamins now and I don't have the same problem.
Keep reading and research, and feel better. "
