YEAH, I HAVE HAND ISSUES BUT ITS JUST SHOOTING PAINS AND FLINGING THINGS LIKE COMBS AND PICKS...NOT CURLING UP....HEATHER

I suffer with cramping in my hands, but i'm also not sure if it is anything to do with the fibro.....and i've also just been diagnoised

I get the cramps in my hands and feet. I've never had carpel tunnel, but I had R wrist surgery for my dequevians tendion (the thumb) and it was pinched, had bone spurs and a cyst in there to. All of it was scraping my tendion. The only good from it all was I had a cute surgeon. I'm sure he thought the same of me when I was sitting there drooling on the surgery table! LOL.

That was my first experience that something was wrong and started going through test after test and blood work, to find out the hand cramping was from fibro.
I think typing on here or just using our hand alot starts the inflammation of fibro at times.
Try warming your hand at times and massaging it.

My left foot does that.

Yes, My hands and feet do that alot! I just rub them out untile it stopes but it does hurt quite a lot.

I have muscle spasms in my hands that seem to be related to a trigger point in my palm. I can "cause" the spasm by pressing on the trigger point - I have one in each hand.

I do have some trouble with hands. They don't freeze up. But they will "give out" or get weak.

I have the same problem. My hands swell, burn, get numb, and for a while my thumb hurt in the joint. Sometimes I would have to put it back in place. Well that stopped and now I have a huge Knot at the base of my thumb. With everything else I guess that's minor.

I've been diagnosed and had the fibro pain for almost three years but the last couple of months my hands have been acting weird. I get sharp crippling pains and sometimes it gets so bad that they feel like claws and i need to crack my knuckles to be able to move them. I've never being tested for carpel...
