I just found my tens unit and want to start using it. I have not used it in about 5 years and I have forgotten how to use it.

Any advice would be helpful.....Thanks

" there are lots of tens unit..I have a new one...what does yours look like
a tens unit is a box that have wires that come out and at the end of the wires it has either square or circle stickies that attach to you like on an ekg..once it is attached you turn the unit on...It send electronic waves to the nerves to confuse the nerves so they will go in a different direction and it lowers the pain you are experiencing...usually it is used for lower back pain...It is a way to help with pain with out meds....
