there are lots of tens unit..I have a new one...what does yours look like
a tens unit is a box that have wires that come out and at the end of the wires it has either square or circle stickies that attach to you like on an ekg..once it is attached you turn the unit on...It send electronic waves to the nerves to confuse the nerves so they will go in a different direction and it lowers the pain you are experiencing...usually it is used for lower back pain...It is a way to help with pain with out meds....

Hmmm when I tried one at a trade fair it fired up all my nerves and I nearly passed out. Felt sorry for the sales guy - not exactly a ringing endorsement LOL

Mine has square contacts. There are 2 sets of wires. You just make an X with the sets of wires - eack stuck on you diagonally. I don't know if all of them are the same.

Does anyone here have a TENS unit for home? If so, which brand do you recommend? Thanks!
Has anyone had relief from a tens unit? Cant get my doc to prescribe one, but pretty inexpensive online.
