I probably should have marked this off topic, but I'm still new at this.

Been a pretty rough 4 days for me.

Haven't been sleeping at all so I got up Thursday night, Friday morning and check my myspace page. Yes I have a myspace page. I use it to keep in touch with a bunch of friends and my son in Hawaii. Anyway my 16 year old who lives with his dad posted something very disturbing. He was so depressed and feeling like a failure. Mentioned something about doing something that people didn't want him to talk about.

I called him right away and kept calling until he woke up and talked to me. It is so hard being mom and being 150 miles away from your baby. He was feeling pretty worthless. I talked to him for about 4 hours and then called his dad and step-mom in the morning and had them take him to see a counselor. His dad is a little strange and took him to his church counselor. He thinks professionals are whacked and just want your money. But I know this person and he is a professionally trained but is the church pastor full time now.

So my son was feeling frustrated because he isn't good at things doing with his hands. The only classes that he has gotten any grade lower than a A in was woodshop and now welding. He is feeling hurt because he finally got the nerve up to tell a girl that he likes her and wants her to be his girlfriend and she tells him that she wants to keep him as a friend because he is such a good listener and she doesn't ant to lose the one person that she can talk to. He is very shy and took a lot of guts to say this to the girl. So he is feeling like he will never have a date because he is too nice.

He is frustrated with living with his dad because his dad doesn't do much with him and won't let my son do much either. Unless it has to do with the church they go to. He is not allowed to get his drivers license or permit until 18. I have tried to at least get his permit but I needed his birth certificate. Have ordered another copy from the state so we can get at least get his permit.

I know that this all sounds pretty trivial to us, but to a 16 year old boy it can be devastating.

So I was up all night with him and then had the appointment to start the clinical trial the next morning. Needless to say I was not in very good shape. Was a four hour appointment and was really rough. Of course they did blood work and a urine test, but also did the ouchy pressure point test. By this point every point but one sent me through the roof. lol But was an interesting experience and I an just waiting to see if I am going to be washed out because I took an ibuprofen the night before. He said that Ibuprofen was an ok drug to take but I guess not.

So I'm not sleeping, whoo hoo got 3 hours last night!!! Most in the last three days. It's snowing and raining here so my pain levels have gone through the roof and right now I can only take Tylenol.

Sorry this has been so long but I just let you know why I haven't been answering some of your hugs and private messages.
