I have pain in both of my legs, thigh down, my right arm at times, headaches and foot pain. Trouble sleeping. Irritible and intestinal problems. My husband asked my dr. today if she thought it might be fibro, she said no because the pain is not in small areas of the body? Advice? Thanks.

Umm...I'm speechless. The classic medical definition of fibro is WIDESPREAD PAIN. WTF?
I think your doctor got her M.D. from an offshore diploma mill. I have pain in my upper arms, thighs, feet, does this sound familiar? My only advice is find a doctor who graduated from a real medical school or has read a journal in the last 10 years. Sorry - it pisses me off when they are not only uncaring, but uninformed.

Sure sounds like fibro to me. Please see another doctor (or two or three) for another opinion. Rheumatologists and Neurologists are good drs for a diagnosis. They usually know the tender point tests. Good luck.
