I just went to my doctors today and she gave me Naproxen. Does it work? I'm only 17 so i'm not in as much pain as most of you but i'm still in enough to no be able to pick up a pop bottle or stand long enough for a shower.

Has it worked for you?

Thanks.

" First, I'd like to say that I am sorry for your pain, and at such a young age... It can be so frustrating, at any age... And also do not minimize your pain.. I would give it a shot, although I did not see much improvement, it acts differently for each person.. And if u can find something that helps, that is wonderful...Good luck...

" I've never taken it for fibro, and I won't take it under any circumstances since it gave me an ulcer and three days on it gave my son a bleeding ulcer so severe he had to have a transfusion.

Nasty stuff. "

" Well since I started this thread thingy she has had to up my dose because it worked but then stopped working. Now I take 500MG. 1 Tablet 2 times a day. One in the morning and one before I go to bed. Which can be good because I like a snack before bed time so thats when I can take it. :D
