when i try to swim,,i'm on the swim team,,my hands feel like they are on fire,,i have to stop alot and open and close them to stop the burning sensations,,is this fibro? my mom has fibro,,she is in the hospital still,,she is not able to eat,,her stomach is bleeding,,they do not know what;s wrong with her,i hate seeing her like this,,she's so out of it,,my aunt makes me see her,,someetimes i just want to forget about her pain,,now this is happening to me..i don't want to have fibromlygia,,if this is how it ends, i love my mom,,but we fought alot when she was home,,i got so sick of her always being in pain,,one day she said she was in soo much pain ,,it was like hell,,i said ha ha ,,she stoped takeing her pain pills then got real sick,,i think i caused all this

Fibromyalgia has all kinds of twist and turns with our body. Off and on I have burning sensations in my hands as well as the top of my feet.
It is common and expected for loved ones to go through a grieving process because the person they did so many things with can not make it through simple things like sitting for several hours and chatting without being interupted by fibro pain. My daughter is upset that I am not who I use to be. It is hard for everyone in the household to deal with. I triedsome medicine and it made me so loopy my husband could not have a conversation with me in the morning. I havetried natural medicine and it was too expensive and causing other stress in the household, especially if it didn't work. My daughter does not want me to take the new FDA aproved meds because she is afraid of the side affects doing something else to my body. You might want to talk to your mother and tell her how you feel and she will be able to put your heart at rest about things.

I am so sorry about all the things you are having to deal with. I will keep you in my prayers. I have had issues of fatigue pain etc but just a year ago is when my fingers started hurting so bad they felt like they were breaking off so went thru testing found out i have sjorgrens, and lupus sle(just diagnosed a few months ago) since then horrible pains, achiness(like a mac truck hit me and worse than any flu I ever had) the burning issue, vision, SHARP pains in my pressure points and where they draw blood, and know the fibro stuff..not sure why the burning but I have times when I feel my entire body is burning and also my hands toes feet fingers head etc..still learning about it..
