I have non alcohol related fatty liver and metabolic syndrome. The only thing addressed by the Dr.'s is the metabolic syn.,more workouts and walking. I have had fibromyalgai since 1994. I weighed 25lb's then. I am female,58 now and I weigh 160. I came upon this site by yahoo search and I want to learn all I can. I want to get to know as many people here. I am delighted to have found you all.

" Sounds like me. My gastro said more walking, exercise and watch what I eat. OF course over the years having acid reflux, I mostly ate startches to keep heartburn from kicking in, Trying to get that changed and think more of what i put into my mouth.
I do know DO NOT use tylenol its a killer on the liver. It inflamed mine and my rheumy told me it is harmful.
So back to "Damned if we do and Damned if we dont" lol "

" thanks to both of you for your get backs. I am bothered by the fact that I have fibro, chem.sen., hiatal hernia, G.E.R.D., IBS, h.b.p.,and high cholesterol, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, 2 degenerative disks and hypoglycemia( the one that is not diabetic) but I am on D. diet to help control it. I think I remembered all of the ows. Anyway, they are all treated as if each were the only problems I have. Like there is no correlation between any of them? Am I making sense? in my head I am. Wow, as I read back over this, there's just no Reader's Digest version to it, is there?. "What a long strange trip it's been" someone once said, he had a grin I'm sure. "
