I was just wondering how many people write journal entries. I've considered it but haven't done this. Just wondering.

I've written a crap load here. lol Only friends can see it, and it sort of releases some issues within oneself.
It can become addicting though and I find depressing, so I've started to curtail it abit, because I tend to write about all the depressing things happening. In short, it can make you depressed, if you know what I mean, if do it too much. I'm sure my friends just shake their heads, thinking I ramble on and on about the same things, and never really solve anything. But, oh well, it's anonymous so who cares. Good luck to you on this.

I write too. I think it has helped me a lot. I also just have my friends view my journal. I have gotten a lot of really good advice. Try to write about the good and the bad too.

lots do.. It helps the healing process. You can open it to everyone, just friends or just yourself. If you open it to others people can comment on it. That helps too.

I have been keeping a journal since 1984. I keep all of my journals in the big popcorn tins, so as to preserve them. I do periodically get them out and re-read them. There have a few months in some years that I slipped and did not write anything, but when I finally did, I tried to catch up on what I missed. These journals have been a delight to both me and my hubby, as we did a lot of traveling in years back and now we just have to open a journal, read and re-visit those wonderful places. I recommend this practice to anyone.

i write journals but i havent on here in a long time. I have a spiral i write at here at home when i am really upset, i call it my bad journal. I normally write in it when i am upset with my husband for some reason or another. It is just to get my feelings out so i dont take it out on him.
It is hard for me to journal about good things, it seems with all that is going on the bad always slips in and i am trying not to concentrate on the negatives that are going on in my life. It is very very theraputic though. I have done it for years.

I have many journals in many places. I am not a frequent writer in them, but they help whenever I have a problem, with anything.
