" You are so special, Pam. I hope that my daughter (19) is like you when it is my time...

Like you, I sit in my livingroom this AM, listening to the news, drinking my coffee, glad that I can share on DS to avoid the occasional
"empty" space.

You are where you are needed most. God bless your caring, courage, selfless concern....kathy "

" Good for you for being there for your mother. She needs you, which you already know. I'm sorry that your husband doesn't understand what you're going through. Losing my father in March has put a damper on my marriage as well. It has actually opened my eyes to a lot of things and I am leaving mine. He was/is not supportive at all. I'm not even allowed to get upset around him. He yells and gets defensive when I get upset about my father. I don't need the added stress and neither do you. Good luck to you and your mother. Give her a hug from all of us and tell her we are proud of her for fighting. "
