My daughter who is 18 went to treatment today. I am asking to keep her in your prayers please we need all the help we can get! She really does want to be there so thats a good sign. I had a horrible sunday which ended with her in the hospital. I thought she was going to die that night. She still isnt the same. She was such a beautiful girl. I mean beautifl!!! In some ways I feel like I dont even know her anymore. I am so scared for her. I wish my husband was home to help her. She listens to him although now, she is mad at him. Ironically, she went to the same place I did 2 years ago. At least I know she is in good hands!

I'll pray that you all get through this and come out on top and that someday you can look back and it'll just seem like a bad dream. I'll pray for your strength as well,& since you've been where she's been, you should be the perfect support for her. Sorry about what you're going through.

It is so hard when one of our children are in trouble. Kinda shreds your heart. Up side she is getting the help she needs and is of the frame of mind that can help her recover. Treatment is wasted on those not ready to face their problems. You daughter sounds ready to face hers.
Such a relief! I'm sure knowing what it is like where she is because you were there too. That is one worry that won't drive you around the bend. Is it a 45 day treatment program? Any visitation allowed? Sometimes they don't for a while to help the patient focus on themselves and detox. Tell your daughter I am rooting for her! Love Rhea

Great minds think alike! He is writing that letter! I had allready written one when I received his stating how he feels partially responsible for not being there for her like he should and on... I asked him to write it to her. Just like what he said to me and I will do the same. I think she needs that now. Sara is not the kind of kid who wants love. She is very stand offish and seems cold. However I know that its a front. she is a beautiful soul. We will be able to visit her next weekend. Thank you for your support and encouragement
