My son has been addicted to benzos for approx 3 years. My son is now in rehab he has now make the commitment to get help. He comes out of rehab next week and has been there for nearly three months. I wil pray that he does not lapse or relapse and support him with all my heart. There is light at the end of the tunnel but when addicted and in that dark hole its hard for them to see the light. No one should give up hope, if all else does fail there is intervention from properly trained interventionists. I am there to support my sons recovery. At the moment he is doing ok and I will pray for him that he keeps it up. It has been a tramatic time and a living nightmare to watch my son who was killing himself before he went into rehab. I empathise with all those that are going through the same with there loved ones. Yvonne21

Prayers to you and your family.My daughter is planning to go to rehab,hopefully this week.It's the hardest thing I've ever been through.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I understand the pain you are going through. I too have a son that is addicted to drugs (heroin) and for years have seen him slowly killing himself. It is the worst thing a family can go through. I believe it is important to never give up hope. I will continue to fight to keep my son alive. Stay strong and know that you are not alone.
