As much as I know you cannot rush the grieving process, it is SO hard to function in every day life!! I was wondering if anyone had tried CBT in order to try and cope with the feelings of guilt etc... often associated with this type of loss?

No I have not tried it.. I tend to lean more towards writing about my feelings.. I did write a letter to my brother who died.

Recently a friend and co-therapist recomend that I try CBT directly related to woman' health issues. Someone whom can really appreciate what I am going through and help me change my patterns so that I can better handle the daily guilt, and other confusing emotions.

yes i have for 25 years and i know myself very well and i know theres a time to grieve and a time to let them go we ve got to move forward or we wont grow there more life to live.
