daughter getting married in nov. transgender dad wants to have active role in wedding but everyone feels ill at ease with this. daughter is so upset she is going to a therapist for help.

If so then I guess as long as he does what your daughter wants that's fair enough, but if he wants to put the focus on himself then no way.
I really feel for your daughter, it's such an awkward situation to be in. At the end of the day it's her day and everyone needs to respect her wishes, as long as she has had a chance to think through how she might feel in years to come if her dad isn't there and a part of it. NO easy answers here for sure. "
