Hands VERY shaky

My hands have shaken my whole life and when I went to the nuerologist thursday she just said it's from my medicine (Prozac 10mg) I think its crap because that is the lowest dose you can go and I've had shaky hands forever! I cant pint my nails good or do my eyeliner perfect (use LOTS of q-tips!) and its hgard to even write. Its embarrassing too because people are like are you okay? and why are you shaking? I just wander if anyone else feels the way I do and what you guys are doing to help the tremors
Thanks =)

" I simply think that some of us are born with dysfuntional neurological systems....and they are often hereditary...as is the case in my family. Does anyone else in your family have this?? "

" I feel for you I really do, coz I have the same feeling. It is very embarrassing for me when I shake, people don't understand and sometimes make fun of it. It isn't a laughing matter. You are not alone hhp235 - I understand and wish you all the very best. "

" I am a male 54 yo. I have had tremmors in my writing hand only for several years that is getting worse. It is so bad that I am unable to work. I have back trouble so I can't do manual labor and there are no jobs for someone that cannot write. I can't even sign my name on receipts and stores. So yes I know what you are feeling. I have been to several Dr. and got no answers. I did find somethink on the web calling it "Primary Writers Tremmor". No one else has heard of this though. Good luck and let me know if you want to chat. "

" After many years of drinking I quit at 42, then DX with b/p disorder and receiving 16 ECT treatments that didn't work my hands started a slight tremor.It has increased to the point today that I need 2 hands to sign my name, write anything,use a cup with a cover. Been DX with neuropathy and have been put on Klonapan that didn't work for the tremors I'm today 63 and the Dr's tell me the tremors are the least of my worries and I shouldn't fret. Have a Happy Tuesday! "
