Hi.
I can imagine you are frightened. I suffered with epilepsy brought on with each pregnancy. (temprol lobe epilepsy)I have three children. Each time I am due my periods, I still faint or have small seizures. I know when its going to happen so im in control.
My cousin who Im a carer for has had this treatment done. He had it implanted last year. You can see it in his chest & it goes up the side of his neck. Sadly it didnt work for him. But he is mentally & physically handicaped who has life threatening seizures.

Hi. This is one thing the doctor has talked to me about. That and surgery, however we are leaning mre toward surgery. I have heard good things about it and have heard it is a very simple procedure. Big hug for you and keep me posted. Best, Katie

Hi. You cant see it in the chest but you can see it up the side of his neck. Its like a deep vein showing. Each time it kicked ito action it made his voice go higher ? Yes quite strange. He had no problems with sleeping, so you should be ok. Although it hasnt worked, he has it still implanted, but not activated. I hope this helps. Jackie

Hi i have had vns done i was so scared but now i am so glad.I had it done oct 2006 i go back every 2 weeks to put up the little computer.But please dont be scared if you have a seizure you just put the magnet across once the fit stops its great from shirl
