My 10 yr old daughter has recently been diagnosed with complex partial seizures (left temporal lobe).

" I have seizures in my left temporal lobe as well, my Epilepsy is called Catamenial Epilepsy. The Epilepsy is triggered by insufficient Progesterone. I sometimes don't recognize faces after a GrandMal. Pretty scary... "

" I had complex partial seizures for 20 years. Mine started at age 9. It was in my mid-temporal lobe. I had surgery in March, 07'. After almost 17 months with no seizures I am now convinced that they are gone for good. I wish the best of luck for your daughter!! "

" I have complex partials as the result of a head injury. We're stil working on stablizing mine. I start at MUSC's epilepsy clinic next month. I am hoping that they will help me get my life back. (At leat a new version of it.) "
