Sleeping Seizures
Seens how we are all talking so much about these, maybe it's the full moon but I had a similar thing happen to me last …

Well Hell. I had a seizure last night. Around 2 am I woke up feeling funny. And Wham!...My wife woke up and held me during my seizure. It was the first one I had in almost 5-6 months. Of course I was really stressed that day, I had gotten in trouble at work, and The hotel had sold, so I was worried I would be replaced.
So far for my birthday, i have had a seizure and a headache. It started bad. Maybe it will end better. Posted on 02/22/08, 02:02 pm |

That's kind of like my Valentines Day- Hubby gave me some delicious Chocolate, and I gave him a Grand Mal- brought on by the stress of shoveling snow the day before...

Hi jbt...,
I'm really sorry for your setback. I know how disappointing something like this is. It feels kind of like someone came along and just deflated you doesn't it? Having to start all over again, after you've had some time behind you with no seizures. It sucks! No other way to describe it. I'm glad your wife was there and that she is so supportive. That's gotta count for something. Maybe all the days stress helped bring it on, maybe not but it sure didn't help. I can relate with the worry of being replaced at work. You probably do the same as I did in that to compensate for seizures; you probably work twice as hard as the other people and many more hours. New day tomorrow and the beginning of putting days behind you seizure free. Starting all over again. BELATED: Happy Birthday. I'll be rooting for you. Ruth

Ruth, again you hit the nail on the head. I feel that if i dont work twice as hard, twice as many hours, they will replace me due to my seizures. I am either their bitch or their workhorse. havent made my mind up yet. But I was called in again this morning (birthday weekend) I deserve a raise.
