Here's something I just wrote to a gentlemen who was discussing his extreme case of environmental allergies. I thought I would share with you the same thing I wrote him as a way of reaching out to others who are challenged with the same or similar situations:
I read your post and couldn't help but notice you said you've had environmental allergies since high school. First of all, I'm sorry to hear that you've been challenged with such an aggravating condition. I've never had allergies like that but I do understand how frustrating it can be and do know of people that fight with it all the time. We have something that may help your situation. A few years ago we decided to change stores and go with a company that offered an environmentally-friendly product line that was affordable. It has really enhanced our lives. I'd like to share some stories with you that I'm sure you can relate to: "Before I was introduced to [the company] I had severe seasonal allergies. I had to get needles to help me live with the discomfort of itchy eyes, ringing ears, and breathing was a chore. I was introduced to [the company] eight years ago and tried on of their product lines (grapeseed base product and grapeseed is a Natural Antioxidant, Natural Anti-inflammatory and Natural Histamine). I started taking this product right away and I am glad to report that I have not had a needle for allergies in over eight years." (Wendy Bracken) "Not long after their product line with (grapeseed) was introduced, I decided to take it since I had heard a lot about how antioxidants are good for you. I didn't know that they can possibly help with allergies or with joint problems. Whenever I would mow the lawn, my sinuses would bleed for two or three days and I was using between 100-120 aspirin, Advil or Tylenol a month just to get by. I had tried the one-a-day allergy pills and sprays, but some of the side effects that I had from the prescriptions were almost as bad as the allergy symptoms, not to mention the arm length sheet of fine print about the risks of major diseases/death that could occur from taking the prescription. Also, if I were to kneel for long (several minutes) in one position, I could hardly move until my joints had loosened up. I started taking the product once a day. After a few weeks, I noticed that my allergy symptoms and joints were feeling better. It was puzzling, because I didn't know what I know now about [product name]. I started taking two then later upped them to three and four per day. 90% of my allergies were gone, no more sinus bleeding, and my tolerance of bent leg positions greatly increased. At this point I started reading everything I could find on grapeseed extract. I had a lot fewer colds and felt better. My wife said it was like I had received a new personality :-) With fewer headaches, she said I was much easier to get along with." (Jeff Ramsey) We as consumers truly need to be educated about what we're buying.
