Sorry to hear about your daughter. I have severe allergies as well. I utilized the immuno shots, I moved in with fiance and he has cats (was deathly allergic). They worked for almost a year however now I have asthma from the cats. I would look into other treatments which I am doing now. I was on a large amout of meds but I found a new doctor who took me off of everything except nasal spray and occasionally singulair. There are shots that you could get for allergies instead of immuno therapy. However they do not give them to children. You could try keeping the dog out of your daughters bedroom, so she does not breathe in dander at night while asleep. Also regular bathing will cut back on dander, or even bath wipes they are easier. There is an anti allergen spray you could order from Dr. Foster and Smith, lemon scented works wonders believe it or not. And get rid of carpeting if you have any. Another good web site is allergy be gone for anti allergen bedding and air cleaners. I have done all of these things and my allergies have improved tremendously.
