" Hey Mike I think so. Some believe allergies happen after you have been exposed to a toxin like my doctor. I was sure it was the nickel in the marker they put inside me that caused me to go adrenal insufficient but it was mold in my breast instead from unsanitary conditions. I believe we become sensitive to a lot of things because of our exposure to infections. This is just my opinion though. "

" Yes it can affect your immune
system. I have read eat healthy
and get your immune system up
so you wont have as many allergies. Maybe buy a juicer,
or eat alot of vegtables and fruits. Eat alot of vegtables that have sprouts, like
broccolli sprouts, etc. look on the net. I was exposed to
toxic mold in the home, i am
better but i still have some trouble. I am starting to build my immune system up,
i pray it helps. Quercitin
is supposed to prevent histamines and vitamin C also, etc. Allergies can make
you not sleep right and cause the immune system to go down.
I recently bought dan active
drink at the grocery store,
it has good bacteria in it for the stomach. The stomach is
60 percent of your immune system. Write me if you need more info. "

" If you aren't breathing properly at night b/c of congestion you will be sleeping poorly. I take antihistamine and my Nasonex or you could do shots to help "

" Yes indeed!!! After a day of raging sinuses and watering eyes and sneezing I am completely exhausted!! All that activity wears a body out. And then I'm all dried out and wiped out the next day. Antihistamines will make you tired too. "

" allergies are the result of an over-active immune system; you react to stuff that doesn't bother others; doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to why a person reacts to one thing & not to another. I had two shots a week for over 30 years; last dr. I went to told me to try Claritin. I found a generic equavalent at Cosco for less than $10 for over 300 tablets; at first they made me so exhausted I couldn't function, so I cut them in half & just took a half daily until I adjusted. I do as well on this as I did on shots so far - a little over a year. My book on the food testing is in VA; going up soon; will send you allergy-testing diet or you can get it from book by Dr. McDougal. I have much more energy & feel 90% better when I stick to my safe list; there isn't any real good test for food allergies; the diet where you eat 7 foods almost nobody is allergic to & then add one food at a time is the only way to find out for sure. An allergist can do patch tests to determine what environmental things you are allergic to. It is expensive, so I hope you have insurance. Avoiding or limiting exposure to whatever you are allergic to will make a really big difference in how you feel - from sick & tired all the time to well most of the time. "

" It certainly did mine. I used to have horrible allergies, even had surgery still had attacks. I learned how to raise my immune system over 14 years ago and have not had an attack since. "

" Yes, allergies can exhaust a person! At least they make my day feel like I'm carrying around an extra person!haha....I'm almost sure mold in my current home is most of my problem, while pollen and grass spores certainly aren't helping my situation....type in" fatigue and allergies" on the web and you can find MUCH info!Best of luck....Jo "
