Enlarged Prostate Support Group

Hi Shupp, I have just read your request. I have had some experience of an enlarged prostate with severe bleeding on several occasions that lead to bockages of the uretha requiring emergency treatment at hospital. The normal GP and specialist advice and treatment together with their recommended drugs, and my own efforts to try various alternatives just as Saw Palmetto, Proscar, etc did not work for me.
An alternative medical advisor strongly recommended my drinking alkaline water.
I have been drinking this instead of tap water since April 24th 2007. Gradually the shows of blood were reduced until last December 7. I have not had any bleeding at all since and my prostate is very comfortable - I think reduced in size. I intend to get a check up with my GP soon including a full blood test. I am now an advocate for alkaline water for all health problems. A water ionizer that may cost US$1000 will be necessary to produce the alkaline water. Refer to the Internet. For good health the body's blood system must be alkaline. With the increasing acidic foods available and acid rain in our water suplies one needs to drink alkaline water to help the body. I am still urinating frequently but no other prostate problems. Perhaps I should take more B6 to reduce the urinating frequency.
