twisted pelvis and popping ribs

Has anyone ever experienced their pelvis twisting. I had it last summer (actually for most of 8 months) where I was in so much pain if I sat for longer than 10 minutes. It got so bad that I had to stand to watch T.V. Finally, after having to drive 6 hours in absolute agony to visit my parents, I went to a Chiro on their island and he told me that my right side of the pelvis was tilted back and the left side was forward. I actually had told a friend of mine before that I was concerned about a boney growth in my lower back which turned out to be my pelvis. It took over 2 months, 3 times a week at the chiro to finally get it to stay put. Also, I have trouble breathing sometimes, feeling like a small elephant on my chest. Apparently, my ribs are moving around and sometimes they compress my lungs. Anyone else have that?

" I know exactly what you're talking about. My spine is basicallly screwing down on itself and my ribcage know sits down inside of my pelvis. I'm 4 inches shorter than I was 8 years ago. The Dr's think it's a combination of progressive scoliosis with EDS which allows the spine give in to the scoliosis by allowing the my vertebrae to sublex, it's awful and there is really very little they can do about it. I do water therapy and wear a supportive corset type brace and take meds. Let me know what your Dr's say, please. "
