So i am currently going through a "remission" period after being on prednasone. my skin is itchy as hell and redder. i am so mad and freaking out, which in turn is making me itchier. is there any baths, lotions, ANYTHING that would soothe the itch? I tried sarna, taking a cold shower, aveena oatmeal bath, dead sea salt mineral bath....but i am so itchy. any ideas would help. thanks

I know that this was a few days ago, but ice cold where ever it itches will take the itch away. Use ice packs or bags of frozen veggies. Best of Luck!

You itch because your body is throwing out toxins from what you are or have been ingesting and you are getting an allergic response through your immune system. Check out www.allergiesmaykill.com and you will find the answers there. Just test everything you ingest.
